The Coos County Sheriff’s Office staff members are raising money for the Coos County Animal Shelter-medical expense account. There is a never ending need for medical care to animals brought into our shelter prior to relocating to a permanent home. The Sheriff’s Office and shelter staff take great pride in being able to vaccinate and provide basic medical care for animals that will be adopted out, some come into our shelter in need of eye and respiratory care and other minor health issues, this also includes spaying and neutering with assistance from local veterinarians, once an animal has been adopted. Just last year, thanks to an overwhelming outpouring of public donations, we were able to purchase a scooter for one of the dogs brought to our shelter that had lost use of its back legs. These fantastic Hoopswagg socks are a great way for us to say thank you for investing in the care of Coos County’s animals in need and wear a bit of Born Blue pride while doing so. We appreciate you
